On Saturday 19th March 2011 at the Peace Centre in Nicosia the ‘Celebrating Diversity’
project team hosted a Diversity Festival that celebrated the many diversities of Cyprus.
The aim of the festival was to increase public awareness on the concepts of
Diversity and Volunteerism.

The day’s events included:
Music from around the world
An exhibition of student’s art pieces based on their interpretation of Diversity
A Tree of Diversity and a Tree of Volunteerism
(with people writing their thoughts on leaves to be posted on the trees)
A Diversity Tour of Nicosia
